![]() It is in this place that the battles at sea are most full-scale. A unique location for military operations is the Mediterranean Sea.Every successful victory affects the outcome of the entire war. All actions have a direct impact on the further course of events. You will be able to interact in real time, from the 1st person. Clear coordination will be required more than ever, both on your part and on the part of the crew. Now the whole team is not just a set of subordinates – they are people with their own fears and experiences, the result of which depends only on your command.įeatures of Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic: Silent Hunter 5: The Battle for the Atlantic will give you the opportunity to move through all compartments of the submarine, talk with the crew, and in wartime take command, making adjustments to the work of the team. The enemies in this game are not just stupid bots, the ships are adjusted by your location, taking into account tactics and strategy. The player will enter the image of a submarine captain, going to conquer the Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea. I have those Remasters b/c they're in AC Odyssey Season Pass, though - even though I also do own the OG versions of both AC3 & AC: Lib HD.Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic is a game for those gamers who understand that it is most effective to flood ships from under the water. It's non-sense.b/c the AC3 and AC Lib HD Remasters probably need beefier systems to run the game b/c they were Remastered and all & likely take up way more space too. I still would like my retail copy of Godfather 2 to work - but it can never connect to the Securom Servers for it to activate it up.Īlso, they (UbiSoft) are trying to probably up-sell gamers that own old copies or the original games of AC3 & their DLC's and AC: Lib HD & their DLC's just right on over to the expensive Package of AC3 Remastered Collection (which has BOTH AC3: Complete Edition Remastered & AC Liberation HD Remastered). It's why even in days w/ say disc-based DRM, I worried when DRM like StarForce wasn't removed b/c my copy of say SC: Chaos Theory wouldn't work, unless I re-bought it from say UPLAY or Steam or I'd have to grab a crack to get my retail copy working that I paid $ for. Those games are no longer really "yours."Īnd also b/c those are also harder for people to pirate and reverse-engineer, too - if it's built from the ground-up needing say client-app's to run have DRM of any sort (like Denuvo, Securom, etc) and/or required server-checks/phone-homes/etc. Games are built from the ground-up these days w/ server checks and activation for a reason: so they have more control over their games. ![]()
